Dr. Jessica Lax, Psy.D. (she/her)
Dr. Lax is a licensed clinical psychologist and Pennsylvania Certified School Psychologist. She earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She also completed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in School Psychology at Eastern University.
Dr. Lax completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral felowship at SPIN, Inc. SPIN is an autism center for excellence that provides diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic services, and ABA for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism across the lifespan. She received training from a research reliable Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule - Second Edition administrator. Dr. Lax has the knowledge and expertise in gold standard evaluation practices to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder in children as early as 18 months. She also received extensive training in psychoeducational evaluations and has experience working collaboratively with school district teams.
